SEGNI BAROCCHI FESTIVAL

Istituita nel 1981, la manifestazione comprende spettacoli musicali, teatrali, cinematografici e mostre in qualche modo improntate al barocco. La ricerca di questo stile nelle arti non si limita al solo '600, ma ai suoi influssi o riprese posteriori. La manifestazione si accompagna a feste in costume, giostre e giochi.

Il Soprintendente Artistico
Massimo Stefanetti, ideatore e coordinatore del Festival (1981-1990), Soprintendente artistico del Festival e dell'Auditorium San Domenico dal 1997, dirigente del Servizio Comunicazione e Documentazione del Consiglio Regionale dell'Umbria fino al 30 giugno 2001, ha ricoperto l'incarico di Assessore alla Cultura del Comune di Foligno (1985-1990).
 

Established in 1981, it comprises musical, theatrical and cinematographic events and exhibitions wich have in some way a baroque quality. The search for this style of art is not confined to the seventeenth century alone but includes its later influences and revivals. The event is accompanied by costume parties, tournaments and games.

The Artistic Director
Massimo Stefanetti, Festival's creator, organizer (1981-1990) and Artistic Director of Festival and of Auditorium San Domenico since 1997, Director of Service Comunication and Documentation of Consiglio Regionale of Umbria until 30/06/2001, became the Assessore Cultura for the Municipe of Foligno (1985-1990).
